GIBBS AND DANDY BACKS RACE AGAINST BREAST CANCER

When Thurlestone Rock came in at 17/1 in the Gibbs and Dandy Handicap Stakes at Windsor, it wasn’t just the lucky punters who were celebrating. Guests of Gibbs and Dandy, the race sponsors, were also backing registered charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
£330 was raised to sponsor Tricia Dance of Dance Building in Waltham-St-Lawrence, Berks, who is taking part in The Weekend to Breakthrough Breast Cancer in September. One in nine British women will be diagnosed with breast cancer so during one amazing weekend, 23-25 September 2005, Tricia will join thousands of women and men in London to walk 60 kilometres to raise funds for research.
