Kettering development completed
12.11.2008

Gibbs and Dandy has unveiled an ambitious £800k development of its Kettering branch. It acquired the former Timber Force branch in Telford Way, Kettering in 2005 with the intention of later adding a range of building materials to the timber and joinery products already on offer there.
Now, the 2-acre site has been transformed with a new building materials warehouse and a resurfaced yard. The branch’s busy timber mill has been retained and its productivity has been improved by the addition of extensive outside storage racking for sawn timber.
Building materials now available include Polypipe drainage, concrete blocks, facing and engineering bricks, lintels, Stonemarket paving, plasterboard and insulation. The branch also has a large self-selection sales area containing tools, ironmongery and other building components.
