Introducing our new Brand Heroes

This year we have partnered with three fantastic sportspeople from the world of Boxing, Darts and Snooker and we look forward to bringing our customers new competitions, great content and more sport all year long.

Welsh Open champion Joe Perry has already saved customers 25 per cent on paint, after Gibbs and Dandy offered a promotion when his world snooker championship game against Robert Milkins was halted when a protester threw paint all over the table on April 17. He said: “I’ve been playing professionally for more than 30 years and I’ve never experienced anything like it. You just have to see the funny side in the end – and it was great to see that Gibbs and Dandy customers were able to benefit.” 

Lewis Williams is one of three inspirational sportspeople who are being backed by Gibbs and Dandy to proudly represent the builders’ merchant’s brand and values. Lewis Williams commented: “Just like Gibbs and Dandy’s customers, I’m working hard every day to achieve my goal. The partnership will help me to focus on my training for the Olympics and bringing gold home for Team GB and Gibbs and Dandy.”

Darts star Callan Rydz is also making headlines in darts. The Newcastle United fan made it to the quarter-finals of last year’s world championships – losing to eventual winner, Peter Wright. He said: “Partnering with Gibbs and Dandy is like having a dependable teammate on your side. Loads of my fans are hard-working people in the trades and I’m hoping a lot more of them will be able to join me at the big events and cheer me on to the next level.”
