It is lightweight and easy to handle and can be placed above a concrete slab or a precast concrete floor in domestic ground-floor constructions, then finished with a wearing layer of chipboard to relevant U-value requirements. Flood-proof, moisture resistant and durable, it provides cost effective insulation for the lifetime of the building
