The Mitras MK2 Surface Mount Gas Meter Box 503 x 408 x 224mm (H x W x D) White (complete with back plate and cover) is popular for use in conversions, or for when there is no cavity to build into and can be used as a replacement cover for a broken meter box when the back plate is removed. This meter box is fully approved to National Grid Gas specifications and complies with the BS8499:2009 specification for domestic gas meter boxes and meter brackets. Manufactured from glass reinforced plastic that gives a neat and polished appearance to the product, design resembles the standard recessed electric meter box. Construction is suitable for all domestic U6/G4 gas meters and the product is suitable for front facing, top angled or latest design pre-payment meters and has a choice of inlet and outlet positions.
