Altech Brass Pump Gate Valve 22mm x 1.5in compression connection is a multi-turn valve where the operation of the valve is done by means of a threaded stem. As the valve has to turn multiple times to go from open to closed position, the slow operation also prevents water hammering effects with the gate valves able to be used for a vast number of fluids. The stem is connected to the handle which screws the gate up or down, opening and closing the gate. The product is manufactured from brass for extra strength and corrosion resistance.
